Befouled
NOLA.com has quite a good page on the Deepwater Horizon spill. But God, it's depressing. Sea turtles and jellyfish already showing up dead—though maybe not from the spill, yet at least. You're ahead of the curve, jules.

I also see that we didn't have fire booms on hand, which would have helped to contain the damned spill. All this bloody technology (like the shut-down switch that most nations use), and we can't bother ourselves with that. We've got stupid wars to fight.
