It was fun to find this picture on your blog -- and loved your caption. I always wondered why we were spared the Jehovah's Witnesses. :)

We had to put Shadow down yesterday -- advanced kidney failure. I miss her, but am glad to see her picture here.

I thank you very much for the kind comment and for not minding the use of the picture, which I have always found delightful -- I just love that uniquely catlike sense of concentration it conveys so well.

And you have my deepest condolences on the loss of Shadow, who I hope had a long, happy life (in addition to sharing her skills at home security). I know a thing or two about the loss of animal friends:
