Random Flickr Blogging #9369

(Last week founder Tom went delightfully nuts, so this week, what the hell.)

Exactly one minute into "Who Let the Dogs Out?", the rogue borealis struck.
This machine makes Ikea payments.
The people of Caution, Montana never understood why their tourist trade never took off—even after they got a Caution Arby's and a Caution Olive Garden.
"Aw, #$%*. I dropped the remote again. Hang on." *rummage rummage*
The men of the Shackleton expedition left more than their innocence behind in Antarctica. They also left Scruggles.
Random Flickr Blogging explained here; photos from (in order) here, here, here, here, and here.

Hey, no fair! You're not leaving anything for the rest of us slowpokes!

(Funny stuff nonetheless!)

Very funny stuff!

One correction, though: the funny posts from last week were by Nobody in Particular, not me. I would hate to get undeserved credit for his genius.
;-)

I think it's interesting that nash and I used about a dozen completely different photos. Of course, there were perhaps hundreds...

I had a little more time yesterday morning to spend perusing photos, Gen -- and more of them spoke to me. (Or whatever it is they do when you look at them and almost immediately see a funny alternative context you can invent for them. You're a capper; I know that you know exactly what I mean. ;) I had the opposite problem -- or is it a blessing? -- last week. I know that you well know the ebb and flow of capper mojo.

I think that I'm going to get into the habit of not visiting any other RFBer's site on Mondays until I've either (a) done my own RFBing for the week or (b) bagged it for lack of time or inspiration. I think we should each RFB whatever images strike us each week. If we wind up with a lot of overlap, that's a pleasant surprise in one way; if we wind up choosing lots of different images, that's a pleasant surprise in another way. Either way, pleasant surprises! It's kind of like copulating in an ice cream store.

I'm glad Tom thought of this -- it's proving to be tremendous fun!

That's exactly what I was thinking when I came up with the idea. I can imagine people coming up with completely different takes on the same picture.

I'm glad Tom thought of this -- it's proving to be tremendous fun!

Glad you're enjoying it! I'm having a blast.
